SHADOWCA7

Welcome to the Official homepage of Destiny Cross!

Donna (aka Destiny Cross / SHaDoWCa7)
was born July 1, 1985 to Vietnam veteran, musician,
and evangelist preacher Ernest "Bug" Fowler
and Chicago Polka Hall of Fame singer
Diane (Langner) Fowler of "The Langner Sisters."

At the age of three, she started singing with her
parents in their country and bluegrass gospel group
called "Volunteers for the Lord" performing at
churches, benefits, and fundraisers, etc.

In her teenage years, she also volunteered as a "Candy Striper" at her local hospital, played hymnals on the piano in the lunch room during cafeteria hours at her local nursing home, and read from the Bible to the elderly.

She continued on to singing at numerous nursing homes and senior citizen centers as well as visiting and singing to the sick and shut-ins who could not leave their homes.

She has played piano for church choirs, funerals, weddings, and various other celebrations as well as guitar, accordion, fiddle, mandolin, and bass.

She married her soulmate at 19 years old
on January 22, 2005, and he became
part of "The Volunteers for the Lord"
playing banjo, guitar, mandolin, and bass.

In January 2012, she posted her first music video
on YouTube (Misty Mountains Cold) receiving
over one million views which prompted her
to continue singing and posting videos
for her loving and very supportive online audience.

On March 19, 2018, her father died and
went on to be with the Lord,
so "The Volunteers for the Lord" dispersed.

At present, her love of music continues
as she spreads the joy of the Lord
through song at church and online!

To God be the glory always!
